Manage your client's Instagram without asking for their login.

Instagram access comes through your client's Facebook connection — the same one-click consent, no separate Instagram password.

In plain English

What your client grants when they connect Instagram

When the client connects Meta (see the Meta page), eGiiG discovers any Instagram business/creator account attached to a granted Page. With social access, you can:

Publishposts and reels to the client's Instagram.
Readthe account's basic info and content.

Why connecting Instagram through eGiiG is the right way

One secure connection, on your branded onboarding link, with the client in full control.

Safe by design

No passwords, ever

The client authorises access on the platform’s own screen. No credentials are ever shared with you or eGiiG.

One link, only what you need

You request exactly the access the work requires. The client can narrow it, but never has to grant more.

Revoke any time

Every connection lives in the client’s portal, where they can review or revoke access whenever they choose.

Good to know

The details that matter

The one thing this page must get right

In eGiiG (and in Meta's world generally) Instagram is not a separate login. A business Instagram account is accessed through the Facebook Page it's linked to. So the client connects Meta once, and their eligible Instagram account comes with it. Write the page around that truth rather than promising a standalone "Connect Instagram" button — it keeps you honest and avoids a support headache.

Requirements the client's account must meet

  • The Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account (not personal).
  • It must be linked to a Facebook Page that the client grants during the Meta connect.
  • The Instagram business account is surfaced through that linked Page, so connecting the Page brings the Instagram access with it.
Three steps

How it works

1

In the Flow builder, request Meta

2

Send the branded onboarding link

Send the branded onboarding link.

3

Instagram access, answered

Do I connect Instagram separately?
No — it comes through your Facebook/Meta connection via the linked Page.
My client's Instagram didn't show up.?
It must be a Business/Creator account linked to a Facebook Page, and the Page must be granted with social access.
Do we need their Instagram password?
No — access flows through the Meta consent, not a login.
